For deep healing, nervous system regulation, and reconnection

Within our trauma-informed space, it is essential that the nervous system remains central in guiding the healing of our human wounds. Relationships serve as a beacon on the journey to healing. I offer consistent support with humility, connection, encouragement, and empowerment.

What is Somatic Healing?

Somatic therapy is a body-based, “bottom-up” approach that helps you reconnect with your felt experience, not just your thoughts.

While traditional therapy often focuses on cognitive analysis, somatic healing works through the body, recognising that trauma is stored physically as well as emotionally. ‘Soma’ refers to the living body as experienced from within, not just as a physical structure.

This approach gently guides your nervous system toward regulation and allows you to build a deeper relationship with yourself. In doing so, you come home to who you truly are.

True healing can only happen with connection. I provide a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and emotionally supported on your healing journey. Here, you’ll find encouragement, compassion and connection to help you feel safe and supported every step of the way.

Trauma is anything that overwhelms the nervous system’s ability to cope. As humans, we adapt to survive, even when the original threat is long gone. This can lead to fragmentation, where we disconnect from the body and shift into the mind to stay safe.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I prioritise relational safety and nervous system regulation. These are the foundations for re-engaging the brain’s higher processing (neocortical function), which is essential for deep, effective healing. Trauma-informed work is non-pathologising, recognising that symptoms are adaptive responses to lived experience. Every emotion or reaction has purpose and meaning. I work gently and collaboratively, supporting each person's unique journey. Because trauma lives in the body, I take care to reduce the risk of overwhelm or destabilisation by letting the nervous system guide the pace of healing.

At the core of my approach is the belief that relationships are central to recovery. I offer a consistent, compassionate space grounded in humility, connection, and empowerment.

Kind Words

“Working with Georgie has been truly life-changing. She has an incredible gift for listening, not just to my words, but to what my body is saying, too. She always notices when I start to intellectualise and gently brings me back into connection with my body in a way that feels safe and supportive. Her trauma processing techniques are always so well prepared and thoughtfully held, and her insights often help me see things in a completely new light. Georgie creates a space that feels both professional and deeply compassionate. I feel genuinely seen and supported in our sessions. She's not only an amazing therapist but a wonderful human being, and I’m so grateful to have her on this journey with me.”
